Joy Outreaches Activities for May 2022

Happy New Month! May the month of June be one of accomplishments in the diverse areas of your life, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

In my last report, I stated that our goals for May were:

1. To mobilize Christians all around the world to go out on evangelism every Saturday. We call it Soul Winning Saturdays.
2. To do a weekly school lunch program and outreach in partnership with an educational consultant. The school is in a ghetto, is struggling and consists of mainly poor and homeless kids.

To the glory of God, we accomplished both goals. The first edition of Soul Winning Saturday held on May 21 and subsequently will be held every first Saturday of the month. We held a weekly program at a ghetto school in partnership with an educational consultant. We held Bible clubs there weekly which helped to build them both spiritually and in their reading skill. We provided snacks for them as we were allowed to by their teachers. You can see photos and video clips of all our activities here.

GOALS FOR JUNE

1. To start ‘Helping the Homeless’, a weekly session to engage and empower young women living on the streets or in slums/ghettos to become financially, physically and psychologically stable so that they leave the slums and build a better life for themselves and their generation.

This program will be kickstarted online and the first episode will be premiered at 5:30 pm on June 7, 2022.

Your kind support is what makes all this possible. Thank you.

Regards,

Joy Ebere Taiwo

Senior Outreach Worker of Joy Outreaches.
