In 1 Chronicles 22:14, David did something.

Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.
1 Chronicles 22:14 KJV

If you look in thr margin of most King James Bibles you will see that the word “trouble” also means “poverty”. In other words, David started saving money and supplies to to build a temple for God even when he was “poor”. Even when it was not convenient or easy to do so.

Many people think that having a high paying job or prospering business can produce financial stability. It can’t. There are many ‘ogas’ in the office that beg for money to pay their childrens school fees or their house rent.

Many people think that giving and tithing can produce financial stability. It can’t. There are many people who tithe and give every Sunday but they are still poor.

Something is missing!

No matter how much you earn, if your outgo exceeds your income, your upkeep will become your downfall!

TO DO
1. Write down how much you earn monthly and how much you spend. Is your income higher than expenses? Is your expenses higher than your income?

What a tragedy it would be to live an entire life without ever realizing the fulfillment and rewards that come from reaching your full potential. Please think about these truthfully:

1. Are you confident about your future? Or do you have doubts?

2. Are you leaving a mark on the world around you?

3. When your life ends, what legacy will you leave behind?

4. Have you lowered your aspirations in life and settled for mediocrity?

5. Have you decided to maintain the status quo in your life instead of charging ahead of the pack?

6. Are you groping for ways to get ahead in today’s volatile and uncertain economy?

  1. Pray that the Finnish will experience God in a dimension they have not done before
  2. Pray for a revival in the land of Finland
  3. Pray that the people of Finland will encounter Jesus in the way they will understand.

Day 65: Republic of Congo

Congo is a country located on the western coast of Central Africa with a population of 5.2 million. 88.5% of the country practices Christianity.

  1. Pray that God’s light will continue to spread all over Congo
  2. Pray that the Lord will raise spiritual giants out of Congo.

Day 64: Germany

Germany is a country in Central Europe with a population of over 83 million. Germany is a great power with a strong economy; it has the largest economy in Europe. A study in 2018 estimated that 38% of the population are not members of any religious organization or denomination, though up to a third may still consider themselves religious.

Japan is an island country in East Asia with a population of 125.5. million. According to estimates, as many as 80% of the populace follow Shinto rituals to some degree, worshiping ancestors and spirits at domestic altars and public shrines.

Day 62: Norway

  1. Pray that the spirit of agnotism will depart from Norway
  2. Pray that their unbelief will be changed to belief
  3. Pray that the people of Norway will experience a revival like never before.

Day 61: Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is a landlocked country located in Southeast Africa with a population of about 15 million. It was once known as the “Jewel of Africa” for its great prosperity. 84.1% of Zimbabweans are Christians but 10.2% claim to have no religion.

  2. Pray for the Spirit of sobriety and the fear of God in the nation of Zimbabwe
  3. Pray that the will of God will reign in that nation.

Day 60: Paraguay

Paraguay is a country in South America with a population of 7 million. Despite a history of poverty and political repression, in a 2017 Positive Experience Index based on global polling data, Paraguay ranked as the “world’s happiest place”. 96.1% of the population is Christian but about 88.3% of them are Roman Catholic.

  3. Pray that God will send labourers who will faithfully win Paraguay for Christ.
