America is the largest country in the Western Hemisphere by land area and the second-largest by total area after Canada. Between 65% to 75% of the US population is Christian (about 230 to 250 million).

Why Pray?
Despite the large Christian community in America, the nation is known for low moral standards. This is mainly because of the prevalence of wrong doctrines e.g. that which presents God as a loving Father who would never punish or send anyone to Hell for their sins. Also that just by saying some words, without genuine repentance, one is eternally saved forever and can just go on sinning.

Prayer Points

1. Pray that God should expose all false doctrines and remove such false teachers from the American pulpits.
2. Pray that God will raise up true and skillful teachers of the Word.
3. Pray that God should put a deep hunger to know Him in the heart of every American Christian
4. Pray that America will once again be a nation that influences/draws other nations closer to God and not vice versa as it is right now
5. Pray for young people and teenagers in America that there will be a revival among them that will make them hate sin and love righteousness.

Message

After fasting and praying, this is what I perceive the Lord is saying to the people of these nations:

Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. Revelations 2:4-5
