Niger is a landlocked country in West Africa named after the Niger River, with a population of about 22 million. Niger is one of the least developed countries in the world. The economy is concentrated around subsistence agriculture, with some export agriculture in the more fertile south, and export of raw materials, especially uranium ore.

99.3% of people in Niger are Muslims and only 0.3% are Christians.

Prayer Points

1. Pray that God will burden men and women with the souls of Nigeriens. People who will go there to labor and give their lives to see them saved
2. Pray that the light of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ will shine in that land
3. Pray that God will take away the love for traditional religion and such dark practices from their hearts.
