Libya is a country in the Maghreb region in North Africa. It is the fourth-largest country in Africa and the Arab world, and the 16th-largest in the world. Libya has the 10th-largest proven oil reserves in the world. It has about 7 million people.
Why Pray?
Libya has Christian roots. Prominent Bible characters like Simon who helped Jesus carry the cross and Mark of thr Gospels were from Libya. Today 97% of the Libya population is Muslim.
Prayer Points
- Pray that God will restore Libya to its glorious place in Christ Jesus
- Pray that the Church at Libya will march forward despite all opposition to the Gospel.
- Pray that the Christian roots will receive life and begin to germinate and blossom again.
