Kazakhstan is the world’s largest landlocked country, the world’s largest Muslim-majority country by land area (and the northernmost), and the ninth-largest country in the world overall. It has a population of 19 million people.

Why Pray?
Islam is the largest religion in Kazakhstan (70%), followed by Eastern Orthodox Christianity (26%).

Prayer Points

1. Pray that God will open Kazakhstan to the light of the Gospel. That they will no longer be locked in darkness.
2. Pray that God will burden the hearts of missionaries with the souls of the people of Kazakhstan
3. Pray for peace in Kazakhstan even as the message of Christ Jesus takes over.

Message

After fasting and praying, this is what I perceive the Lord is saying to the people of these nations:

Light will shine out of your darkness. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6
