Why Pray?

1. Russia is the largest country in the world by area, covering over 17,125,191 square kilometres (6,612,073 sq mi), and encompassing one-eighth of Earth’s inhabitable landmass. It is the ninth-most populous country and the most populous country in Europe, with a population of 145.5 million. If a revival proceeds from there, it will set the whole world on fire for Jesus Christ.
2. Over 70% of people living in Russia practice Russian Orthodoxy, a religion that mixes tradition with idolatry and worship of the dead while masquerading as Christanity.
3. As at 2012, 47% people in Russia practised true Christianity. Today (just 10 years later) only 20% still follow the teachings of the bible.
4. Russians are undergoing political oppression and the true Christian community is being adversely affected.

Prayers

1. Pray for a revival to spring forth in Russia that will affect the whole world and bring billions to Christ.
2. Pray that the eyes of those practicing Russian Orthodoxy will be open to the truth of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.
3. Pray that the true Church in Russia will begin to grow and expand
4. Pray that God will deliver the citizens of Russia from any form of political oppression.
5. Pray that God will raise up laborers for His Kingdom in Russia.

Message

After fasting and praying, this is what I perceive the Lord is saying to the people of these nations:

You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 26:1 KJV
