🪆Idolatry is when you worship, bow down to or pray to an object, image or person (dead or alive).

🗿Idolatry also means having an opinion of God that suits yourself and supports your sins. E.g. when you say things like: “I don’t think God will send someone to Hell because the person told a lie.”

🤑Idolatry is also when you love and regard money, material things, your boss, your wife/husband, your self, anything and anyone, above God.

📖In Exodus 20:4-6, God said: Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

🔥According to Revelations 22:8, all idolaters will end up in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone forever

🙏But if you repent today, leave Idolatry behind and put your trust in Christ completely, God can forgive your sins and grant you everlasting life.
