Discerning of Spirits
This gift is simply the divine about to know very accurately the spirit motivating a person to act in a certain way. More than ever, this gift is so important today because false prophets are on the increase in the Church. Everyday, there is a new man of God arising in town. With the advent of the internet, you can be easily browsing and come across a sermon from a so-called reigning man of God that will destabilise your faith completely and even lead you into worship of demons. May this not be our portion in Jesus name.

Both Moses and Pharohs magicians could turn water into blood. But one party was being sponsored by the spirit of God, while the other, demonic spirits.

1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

The people you call your mentors in business, work place academics, etc. 🤔🤔🤔Have you ever wondered what theri source is?

I mean, from where do they get all the strategies and advice they are giving you to swallow???

Something happened to me some years ago. There was this woman at my former workplace. At the time, I think I was considering asking her to be my mentor. One day we were chatting in the office ans she said, “Its impossible to be doing business and not lie.”

She said its a necessary part of succeeding in business. I immediately 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️ dropped the idea of her becoming my mentor.
And how I saw her as a person changed completely from that day.

HOW TO MANIFEST THE GIFT OF DISCERNMENT

It takes a close walk with God i.e. familiarity with the voice of God.

Imagine, 10 women speak to you telling you exactly the same thing in the same pace. You would easily be able to recognise if your mother was among them. This is because you’re so familiar with your mother’s voice.

To manifest this gift, you don’t need to go dabbling into hearing demonic voices. Just focus on getting closer to the Holy Spirit. Even if a 😈 should literally appear to you in the form of an angel, you will know because you are already used to God’s presence and you will feel very uncomfortable in the presence of that spirit.

In conclusion, remember this scripture:

John 10:27
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Your following Jesus is dependent on how much of his voice and presence you recognise.

Now is the time to seek the Lord more than ever before. The end time is here and the antichrist is coming (already here). May we not be among the believers that will be deceived in Jesus name, Amen.
