40 Days To Purpose | Day 35

The Gift of Working Miracles
What would you describe the following as?

1. Jesus turning water into wine at the wedding of Cana

2. Jesus feeding 5000 people by multiplying 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish

3. God parting the red sea for Moses and the children of Israel

4. Daniel not being eaten by lions in the lion’s den

5. The widows oil not finishing until she had no more jars to pour into

I would call these Miracles.

A miracle is an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency.

1. A desire to work miracles to exalt the name of Jesus

2. Intimacy with God… brought about by spending quality time with Him

3. An ‘impossible’ situation

I am sure from previous classes, we understand point 1 and 2. So let me talk about point 3. If you look at these situations, you will notice something common. These were each difficult or impossible situations. Situations where there was no hope. Are you going through a difficult situation?

Perhaps you need a miracle. God wants us to have miraculous lives in fact let your life be the training ground for practising this gift. When going through a difficult situation, get used to having faith and standing on God’s word instead of looking to a man for help.

Then when your life is miraculous, it won’t be that difficult to manifest this gift in the life of others. This is because the principles are the same.
From today, I want you to see every impossible situation in your life is an opportunity to experience God’s miralous power through your faith. Then begin to see it that way for others around you.

Determine not to be afraid to quote God’s word/promises over every difficult situation you face. This is how you open the doors for miracles. If you alre always finding a way to sort yourself out of every problem, how can God show his power?

We are living in a time where everyone is so skeptical. In fact, many believers do not want to have anything to do with men/women of God who work or claim to work unusual miracles.

If I showed you a video of me turning water into blood, would you believe? Be honest ooo.😄

Wouldn’t you think it was made up or that I have gone into diabolical things or witchcraft?

Yes, I know people do all sorts of evil in the name of God but this is why God needs you to replace them.

If you simply pay the price, you too can be His vessel, doing wonders and glorifying Jesus.

I pray God give us the desire in Jesus name, Amen.

God bless you!
