40 Days To Purpose | Day 15

One day, God created the earth and every living thing in it including man/humanity. God created man because he wanted to have lots and lots of children. He wanted men and women who share his life and character.
Satan by the way, also wanted children. He wanted children who will share in his life and character. So Satan tempted Adam the first man, and succeeded in taking his dominion. It was such that every of Adams decendant is born in sin. That is, every one born into this world is by nature a child of the devil, destined to perish in hell with the devil forever when they die.
But GOD IS LOVE. He does not want anyone to perish. God will have ALL men be saved and come into the knowledge of the truth. If there was any other way to save you, God would have done that. But without shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. So God came down in human form and died for you.
God died for the following reasons:

1. To forgive you of your past sins so that you don’t have to perish eternally
2. To give you power/ability to become his Son i.e. to share his Holy and Loving nature; so that you no longer commit those sins He has forgiven you of; so that you can live to please Him.
The price God paid was far from easy. God had to endure the most gruesome form of betrayal, torture and crucifixion from those he loved and healed and came to save.It was the day God allowed humanity to stab Him in the back.
What made God go through such torture was His Vision. Yes, even God had a vision. And it was that vision that kept him going for his goal even in the face of wicked persecution and death. Hebrews 12:2 confirms this: “for the joy that was set before him endured the cross”.
Yes that “joy”, the joy of having lots and lots of children who will willingly share his nature and character was what made God endure till the end.
What is your vision in life?
Your vision has to be powerful enough to keep you going when the whole world turns against you. As for me I’m going to share the vision of my Father. It is the most powerful vision ever. I have made it my vision in life to see everyone become God’s child. I see everyone as a potential child of God. No matter how bad they are, I want to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them and get them saved and see them walk in Truth.
I invite you to come and share in God’s vision today. For if you must be relevant in God’s agenda then His vision must become yours.
ACTIVATION | GETTING PRACTICAL WITH IT
1. Ask God to burden you with his vision for humanity. Let the fire that burns in His heart, burn in your heart as well.
May God set our hearts on fire for him in Jesus name, Amen
