Christians need to snap out of the hold of self-pity. We think our situation in life is the worst. Our husband/wife is the worst. We live in the worst house. Our career/business is the most demanding. Our children are the most tasking to care for.

We wallow in self-pity everyday, day dreaming and coveting our neighbors perfect life. We unconsciously tell ourselves that God does not love us enough.

Permit me to announce to you today that it’s not only you. There are many people suffering as much as you are or even worse. Therefore, your life challenges are not an excuse for you not to serve God.

If you die in your complacency about soul winning, God will still punish you (2 Corinthians 5:10) even if it’s only one cup of Garri you were managing everyday.

Remember, that as a Christian, you even have an advantage over the rest of the world: “God is faithful…”. He will not allow any trial that you cannot bear come your way. Instead of carrying the world on your head, drop it at the feet of Jesus today in prayer and get busy about his kingdom work. PREACH THE GOSPEL, SAVE MEN FROM DESTRUCTION, IT IS HIS ULTIMATE DESIRE AND AGENDA ON EARTH.

I pray that you will be able to bear every trial and overcome any temptation you are currently facing, in Jesus name, Amen.
